Travel along Jamaica’s scenic north coast, then go through the countryside until we arrive at the Hampden Estates. Upon your arrival you will be greeted, briefed and taken on a guide tour of the estate during which you will not only learn how the rum is made, but get to taste. After your tour, enjoy some Jamaican lunch (cost of lunch included) before returning to your Cruise Ship in Falmouth/resort in Trelawny.

Our driver (I believe his name was Robert) was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. He was also happy to take some pictures for us. The tour was great and was our favorite thing to do in any of the ports we visited. The company’s operation seemed very smooth and I would have no hesitation about touring with your company again over the excursions offered through the ship.

Our holidays are over and it’s back to work now …..
About our Hampden Rum Factory Tour From Falmouth :
Honestly ? We had a great day out !!
We were supposed to be picked up at 9am at the hotel near Falmouth, however the driver was already there by 08h45
Willy was VERY friendly and helpful and along the way to Hampden we talked a lot , it was really very pleasant !
At Hampden, he took care about the payment and we joined a guided tour (only 4 guests!) for about an hour + nice lunch afterwards
And then we got to the tasting ….. And as we are rum-collectors , the tasting took much longer than foreseen ….
Willy waited for us very patiently , so we were really VERY HAPPY with the tour ! We had plenty of time, there was no rush and the conversations in the car were also very interesting (Jamaica versus Belgium).
HAMPDEN rum factory was THE BEST and still so original WOOOOW, for your information : we went to all 3 rum distilleries in Jamaica (Worthy Park, Hampden and Appleton)
